Grundy Center's Agricultural Education program promotes
the diversity of agricultural career skills and opportunities available from around the state, our nation, and our world.
Agriculture is much broader than the grain and livestock production in our area. The National FFA has developed a database of nearly 400 agricultural careers. These careers are grouped into six career cluster areas: Agricultural and Forestry Production; Communications
and Education; Managers and Financial Specialists; Marketing, Merchandising, and Sales Representatives; Scientists, Engineers,
and Related Specialists; and Social Service Professionals.
Our program opens the door to these careers and integrates the application
of science and math to enhance students learning.
