Basic Ag Mechanics
This class will give an introductory
look into the workings, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment common to agriculture.
There are many pieces of equipment in the real world that you will not see in this course, however, the experiences
and classroom knowledge you gain in this class should give you the problem solving skills and the basic background knowledge
to work on equipment in the future.
Skills that will be addressed in
this course include: shop organization and tool maintenance, SAFETY, engines,
hydraulics, routine maintenance schedules, diagnosing failures, and other related topics.
When we are in the shop, you will
be assigned a group to work with. Your grade within that group depends on the
following things:
