Ag Business Management Overview  
 
This course provides student an introductory look at the business aspects of agriculture.  The topics that will be covered in the class include basic farm accounting, sales, commodity marketing, ag laws, taxes, and marketing trends.  Several different templates for budgeting, financial decision making, and record analysis will be used.  The futures market will be studied in depth and the use of many modern technologies such as the DTN will be used.
